Each wick is 15 cm long and comes factory pre-waxed, so it burns steadily from first use.

The metal sustainer holds the wick in place at the bottom of the container, while the cotton braid draws the wax evenly as it burns. The wicks are packed in a resealable bag measuring 150 x 200 mm.

Material: cotton (wick) and metal (sustainer)

Wick length: 15 cm

Pack size: 100 Pieces

Purpose

The wicks are designed for handmade scented and unscented candles, including candles made from soy wax. Choosing the right cotton wick is key to clean wax burning, a stable flame without soot, an even melt pool across the candle surface, and proper fragrance release.

How to use

Place the wick with its metal sustainer at the bottom of the mould or container before pouring the wax, then centre the braid and hold it upright until the wax sets. How the wick burns depends on the type of wax used, the room temperature, the amount and type of fragrance oils, and the shape and diameter of the container, so it is worth running burn tests before making a larger batch of candles.

Material

The wick is made of cotton, crimped into a metal sustainer. The wicks are pre-waxed at the factory, which shortens the preparation time for each candle.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0560/5788/8819/files/bilovit-braided-candle-wicks-with-metal-sustainers-15-cm-100-pieces-swi-kno-15-1266188698.jpg?v=1793870652
