Beutelsbacher Unfiltered Apple Vinegar 5% is a German organic vinegar from certified biodynamic farms (Demeter – a higher standard than conventional organic farming). Beutelsbacher Unfiltered Apple Vinegar 5% is a German organic vinegar, made from certified apples grown using biodynamic methods (the Demeter method, a higher standard than conventional organic farming). It is produced through a natural fermentation process.

The unfiltered and unpasteurised version retains the natural ‘mother of vinegar’ – a cloudy sediment rich in enzymes and fermentation cultures, a characteristic feature of raw vinegar. 5% acidity, a delicately tart flavour with a fruity apple note. Large 750 ml bottle.

Usage

Vinegar for salad dressings, meat and vegetable marinades, vinaigrette sauces, raw vegetable salads, pickled gherkins, marinated peppers, and sauces for fish and stewed vegetables. It also works well as an ingredient in homemade refreshing drinks (with water, honey, ginger) and non-alcoholic cocktails. Vegan.

Directions for use

Shake before use – cloudiness is the natural ‘mother of vinegar’. For dressing: 1 part vinegar to 3 parts extra virgin olive oil, salt, pepper. For a marinade: 2–3 tablespoons per 500 ml of marinade. For a drink: 15–30 ml per glass of water, with a hint of sweetness from a teaspoon of honey. The large 750 ml bottle lasts a long time – enough for a family.
