Bilovit Cold-pressed camelina oil is 100% camelina seed oil (Camelina sativa) – unrefined, unfiltered, cold-pressed in a Polish oil mill. Camelina sativa (commonly known as golden camelina) is a Polish oilseed plant, known in traditional Polish cuisine for centuries.
Golden-yellow colour and a unique onion-spicy flavour – characteristic of cold-pressing without purification. The nutritional table is dominated by polyunsaturated (43 g/100 g) and monounsaturated (47 g/100 g) fatty acids – together accounting for 90% of unsaturated fats.

Usage
Oil for cold dishes: salads, raw vegetable salads, sandwiches, cooked grains, potatoes with dill. The onion and spice flavour goes well with green lettuce, cucumber, tomato, goat’s cheese, quark. A classic of traditional Polish home-made marinades. Not suitable for frying, baking or cooking – heating degrades polyunsaturated fatty acids. Vegan.
Directions for use
Cold: 1 tablespoon (12 g) on a salad, raw vegetable salad or with boiled potatoes. Dressing: 2–3 tablespoons of oil with a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar or lemon juice. Directly from a teaspoon – 1–3 teaspoons a day. Drizzled over wholemeal bread or with cottage cheese (an old Polish classic).
Storage
Once opened, store in the fridge and use within a month – 1000 ml of camelina oil oxidises quickly after opening when exposed to light, heat and air. Keep the bottle tightly closed.
