Vitaler's Coenzyme Q10 (Ubiquinone) 100 mg - 60 Capsules

Coenzyme Q10 is a compound present in almost every cell of the body, most of all in the mitochondria. The body makes it on its own, and dietary sources include meat, fish, nuts and rapeseed oil. It comes in two forms: ubiquinone, the oxidised form, and ubiquinol, the reduced form, and in the body one turns into the other. The name ubiquinone comes from the word "ubiquitous", meaning present everywhere.

The fish oil in the capsules is standardised: 33% eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and 22% docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). The capsule shell is made of bovine gelatine, and the vitamin E comes from d-alpha-tocopherol.

Vitaler's Fermented Red Rice - 60 Capsules

Red rice is made by fermenting cooked rice with the fungus Monascus purpureus, which turns the grains a deep red. In Chinese cuisine it has long been used as a natural colouring and an ingredient of fermented foods. Monacolins are compounds that the fungus produces during fermentation.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients. This product should not be taken by pregnant and breastfeeding women, children and adolescents under 18, or people over 70. Do not take if you use cholesterol-lowering medicines or other products containing red rice. If you have any health problems, consult a doctor before use.

Storage

Store in a dry place, avoid excessive heat, out of the reach of small children. Do not use if the seal under the cap is damaged or missing.
